Shea Butter: A pure, unrefined product processed manually and without the use of chemicals or bleaching agents. Because of the unique qualities of this variety, as well as the use of chemical-free processing methods, it is naturally high in shea Olean and therapeutic unsaponifiables, absorbing more readily into the skin. A remarkable, all-purpose moisturizer and skin protector, particularly useful for smoothing fine lines and wrinkles. The producers of this shea butter are women farmers belonging to farming groups and cooperatives of northern Uganda and Southern Sudan. Our support of these producers increases the value of the living shea tree, engendering conservation of indigenous African woodland for future generations.
Ylang Ylang Essential Oil: Known as the “Flower of Flowers” This exotic scent is very sweet, heady and euphoric, similar to the scent of Jasmine. It is distilled from the flowers of a tall, tropical tree native to Southeast Asia. In Indonesia it is traditional for newlywed couples to find these blossoms spread on their marriage bed. Ylang Ylang is sensual, relaxing and uplifting. It has been an important ingredient in exotic perfume and is best known therapeutically as an aphrodisiac, releasing emotional blocks that prevent sexual enjoyment.
